A bystander rescued a family from a car fire on Interstate 10 in Marana Saturday.

According to Northwest Fire, a family of four was driving eastbound on I-10 near Cortaro at 12:50 p.m. when the car caught fire. The car filled with smoke, and the passengers -- who had a baby with them -- struggled to get out.

A bystander forced open the vehicle doors and helped them escape.

Northwest Fire crews put out the blaze and cared for the victims, none of whom were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
