TUCSON, Ariz. - A taste of Brazil is on its way to the Tucson restaurant scene.

According to its website, Churrasco de Brasil Brazilian Steakhouse will open at 150 W. Wetmore Road this winter.

The restaurant operates under the churrascaria concept, which involves servers who cut, cook and serve the meat, taking offerings from table to table that diners can accept or decline.

Restaurants such as Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao have similar concepts.

The restaurant will open in the former home of Twigs Bistro and Martini Bar, which shut its doors in May 2018.
