A Desert Willow Elementary student who battled cancer was surprised Friday with a dream trip to Disney World.
Cameron Herrera attended what he thought was a normal high school assembly, but it turned out his wish would be granted, thanks to Make-A-Wish Arizona.
Herrera has missed a lot of his fifth grade year due to hospital stays and cancer treatments. His father, Jonathan Herrera, said the trip is exactly what Cameron needs to keep his spirits high.
Cameron and his family will be packing their bags and going to Disney World in March.
