U.S. Border Patrol agents found unexploded ordnance near Douglas Wednesday.
The device was close to Geronimo Trail, east of Douglas. A Cochise County Sheriff's Office bomb tech transported the item to the Douglas Airport, where it was detonated.
The CCSO warns people who find ordnance to call for law enforcement assistance.
