TUCSON, Ariz. - U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a Honduran gang member who had been previously deported.
According to the agency, Hector Gustavo Montoya-Irias is a member of the 18th Street gang.
He had been arrested several times, including in 2016 for drug smuggling offenses. He served a 24-month term in prison before he was deported. He had been deported more than 10 times since 1993.
Montoya now faces criminal immigration charges.
