A bicyclist was hit and killed Wednesday morning near River and Shannon. Pima County Sheriff's deputies restricted the intersection.
Eastbound River was closed between Shannon and La Cholla. The road reopened by the noon hour.

The bicyclist was a man, deputy Cody Gress said.
