Fort Huachuca officials say a bear was stuck in a tree on campus Wednesday and has been euthanized.
The area around Bernard Loop and Irwin has now been cleared and is safe for residents.
An effort was made by fort and wildlife officials to harass the bear out of the trees, but they were unsuccessful.
This bear was a previously tagged bear and had to be euthanized.
