The Arizona Game and Fish Department is warning hikers of an aggressive bear in Madera Canyon.
According to department spokesman Mark Hart, a light-colored black bear charged a hiker at 7 a.m. Sunday about two miles up the Super Trail in Madera Canyon in the Santa Rita Mountains.
The bear, which could range from a yearling to adolescent, might have been frightened.
