A San Tan Valley teen accused of sexually assaulting several girls now could potentially be released on bail.
A Pinal County Superior Court judge, saying there is no evidence that Kost is a threat to the public, set the bail for Tyler Kost at $100,000, KGUN sister station KNXV reports.
In 2014, Kost was arrested an accused of sexually assaulting 13 girls between the ages of 12 and 17. At the time, he attended Poston Butte High School.
Kost's attorney said Friday that the lead investigator committed policy violations by pulling alleged victims from class for unrecorded interviews, then failing to write up the interviews in a timely manner.
Kost, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges, contends he was framed by the girls.
State argues: Kost is a significant danger to the victims. He does not understand the word no. #abc15 pic.twitter.com/heaO1t0tLH
