Mountain View High School initiated a "hold" action on campus Thursday afternoon after a student was reported to possibly have a weapon.
According to a letter sent from Mountain View High School Administration, officials contacted law enforcement, who, after investigating, determined the statement made about having a weapon wasn't credible.
Law enforcement lifted the hold at about 1:05 p.m, and classes returned to their normal schedule.
