The newest Ashley HomeStore in southern Arizona held a grand opening Thursday morning.
The 50,000 square foot store, at 100 N. Pantano Road, employs 97 people. The location was formerly a Sam's Furniture Outlet. Staff has doubled for the new store.
The Ashley HomeStore concept is designed to embrace the enhanced lifestyle way to shop. It's also the number one furniture retailer in the United States.

Sam Levitz Company, which owns the store, also operates an Ashley HomeStore in Sahuarita.
