Arizona leads nation in 2016 child drownings

Arizona has the most child drowning in the nation in 2016.

Nine deadly water incidents have occurred in the state this year. Four of those were in Tucson, Marana and Oro Valley.

All four Tucson children who drowned were under the age of 6.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warns parents and guardians to take a pool safety pledge.
