A group of anti-Monsanto activists will gather Tuesday to protest the company's plans for a Marana greenhouse.

The rally will start at 8 a.m. at 130 W. Congress.

March Against Monsanto's Tami Canal, Zen Honeycutt of Moms Across America and Rachel Linden of GMO Free Arizona will speak.

The vote precedes a Pima County Board of Supervisors meeting at 9 a.m. at which the Monsanto facility is on the agenda.

After Monsanto dropped its bid for a tax break, concerned citizens are not giving up and are more determined than ever to keep Monsanto out.

Press release with information on the planned protest.
