U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested a 58-year-old Tucson woman who was allegedly tried to smuggle meth across the border at Nogales Oct. 11.
According to the CBP, the woman hid 16 pounds of meth inside her Nissan sedan.
She was turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
