TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Department of Transportation is holding public hearing to improve I-10 and Aviation Parkway for better access to downtown. It's happening Wednesday, November 20th.

ADOT representatives will formally present their study to connect the two roadways at 6 p.m. at Billy Lauffer Middle School on east Littletown Road.

Highlights include creating new Alvernon and Country Club interchanges with I-10, while closing the Palo Verde Interchange and widening I-10 between I-19 and Kolb.

If you cannot attend Wednesday's hearing, there's still an opportunity to review the study and provide input until December 12th.
