In Pomerene, a man in his late 70s and a juvenile male were both injured after an air tank exploded Wednesday night around 7 p.m.
The Cochise County Sheriff's Department said the man was transported via helicopter to a Tucson hospital suffering from shrapnel injuries to his head and neck.
The juvenile was also transported to the hospital via ground for shrapnel wounds as well.
It's unclear where the boy was injured.
