TUCSON, Ariz. - Someone in Safford may be sitting on a $100,000-winning Powerball ticket.
According to Arizona State Lottery lottery, a winning ticket was sold in Safford over the weekend, and no one has come forward to claim it.
The winning ticket matched four of the five numbers, as well as the Powerball number. The winning ticket had a multiplier that doubled the winnings from $50,000 to $100,000.
The ticket was sold at the Circle K at 1123 W Thatcher Blvd.
The winning numbers of the Saturday drawing were 1, 9, 22, 36, 68 with Powerball number 22.
