TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire near Fort Lowell and Romero roads early Saturday.
TFD crews were called to 1700 block of west Fort Lowell road after a neighbor made a 911 call around 12:45 a.m.
Upon arrival crews found the neighbor attempting to put out the fire with a garden hose.
TFD say it was thought a resident was still inside the home.
Crews began working to contain the fire from the rear of the home.
TFD say the resident was found safe outside the home.
Units responded with water supply, utility control, ventilation, and over haul of the fire, and a rehabilitation area.
One resident was displaced from the home.
There no injuries reported from the home owner or firefighters.
TFD also added to practice an escape plan and be sure all smoke alarms work.
