TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — UPDATE: (6:30 p.m.)
The Pima County Sheriff's Department is now confirming the identity of the woman who was found dead near the Tucson Mountain Baptist Church Sunday.
66-year-old Debra Esarey was found Sunday morning.
Esarey's family had reported her missing several days ago, according to PCSD.
Someone had called deputies to the scene just before 12:00 p.m. Sunday, where they were able to confirm the identity.
Initial reports from PCSD had said they believed the body found was a male.
PCSD does not believe the death is suspicious, and Esarey's cause of death is being determined by the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner.
