A 20-year-old man has died after being pulled from Lake Pleasant Monday afternoon.
Rescue crews were called to the scene around 4 p.m.
MCSO deputies say the man was swimming when he began to struggle and went under water. When rescue crews arrived, they were able to locate the man and pull him out of the lake.
They began life-saving measures until Peoria fire arrived on scene took over and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Lake Patrol Detectives say this is an active investigation.
The man is not being identified at this time.
