TUCSON-The I-10 has reopened following a collision involving a semi truck and a vehicle shut down both directions of Ithe freeway on Sunday, Dec. 9.
The accident happened around 12:30p.m., and DPS troopers arrived on the scene at milepost 316 immediately following the crash.
Two people were transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
One was taken to the hospital air, and the person was taken by car.
Per ADOT, the left lane reopened around 3:30p.m, but, for a long period, the I-10's right lane was closed, leading to traffic congestion.
Just shy of 6p.m., the right lane opened.
