The final season of Game of Thrones will begin airing in the first half of 2019.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, HBO programming president Casey Bloys spoke at the Television Critics Association where he revealed the window for the final six episodes.
Bloys was reportedly tight-lipped about what to expect in the final season other than saying: "It's pretty great."
Game of Thrones earned 22 Emmy Nominations this year.
In addition to the final season, HBO also revealed that a prequel series is in the works based on events before Game of Thrones.
