TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — An Alice Vail Middle School student has been charged and detained after being found with a gun on campus Tuesday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.
Police say they were called just after 10 a.m. Tuesday after reports of a student with a gun.
Officers investigated and charged the sutdent for possessing a firearm on school grounds.
He is being transported to the Pima County Juvenile Detention Center.
There is no threat to the public.
