TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) -- It's been more than a month since Ashley Brown was found dead in Nashville, and her family in Tucson is still searching for answers.

Brown's family and friends held a memorial for her Friday night.

Brown went missing on December 17th. She had been at a pub that night with her friends. Brown was last seen leaving a friends house to smoke a cigarette, but never returned. Her body was found at a trash facility in Nashville days later, the day before Brown would have turned 28.

A few dozen people attended her memorial services at the Calvary Chapel of Tucson, including her friend of ten years Amy Clack.

During the memorial, dozens of photos of Brown were shown to the gathering -- many of them included Ashley smiling, laughing and posing with loved ones.

"I was the first person to tease her, because she'd always be taking some kind of selfie with somebody," Clack said. "But now that we have them all it's like a gift, to have every face you can imagine, every expression."

Brown had worked as a surgical technician and had met Clack while training to work in the hospital. Brown had worked at a number of hospitals in Tucson, including Carondelet St. Joseph's Hospital.

The Nashville Police Department is investigating the case, and her family is asking if you have any information contact officers.
