A cold front brought the snow level to near 2500 feet, giving us a mix of snow and rain in the metro area. As you head out of the center of town and up a few hundred feet, measurable snowfall can be found.

Many locations like Vail, Sahaurita, Green Valley, Corona de Tucson and Oracle reporting 1-2 inches.

More snow may fall later this morning and again tomorrow morning closer to the New Mexico border as the storm system moves to the east.

Now that the front moved through we are stuck in the cold air. 40s for highs today and tomorrow and overnight lows dropping into the mid 20s! Brrrr.

We'll warm up into the mid 60s by the end of the week before another system comes in. This one will be much warmer with snow being out of the picture with the exception of the higher mountain tops.
