Our first triple-digit day of the year is quickly approaching, and some will even see excessive heat conditions.
Tucson jumps from the 70s Wednesday and Thursday, to 90 today. By Saturday, we'll warm to near 100 degrees, then 102 by Sunday. Once the 100s arrive, we'll stay near 100 for the majority of next week.
Some areas in Maricopa and Pinal counties are under an Excessive Heat Watch Sunday, where highs could reach 105 to 109 degrees.
Please be safe in this heat. Limit outdoor activity. Dress cool, and stay hydrated.
