Highs will stay near seasonal for this 4th of July before excessive heat moves in to southern Arizona.
The Excessive Heat Watch for Thursday is now an Excessive Heat Warning, and includes Tucson. Highs will soar between 108 and 115 degrees in these areas.
Friday is still under an Excessive Heat Watch, but with increasing moisture from northern Mexico, some areas should stay just under the threshold for a Warning. That said, it will still be dangerously hot for many areas across southern Arizona.
Remember to limit your outdoors and stay well hydrated!
