After unseasonably high temperatures in the triple digits, we're finally cooling down later this week -- but not before what could be our monsoon's last hurrah.
A chance for rain is lingering through Tuesday, but the best chance for rain will come Wednesday. That chance drops Thursday, but rain is still possible.
The expected showers are triggering a flash flood watch across most of southern Arizona all through Wednesday, Cuyler Diggs reports.
A Flood Watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for all of SE Arizona from Wednesday AM to Wednesday PM. Lots of moisture will move in overnight and bring a potential for some heavy rain. In Tucson, we could see 1 - 1.5" of rain... pic.twitter.com/EFfnRL3NT1

The rain should cool things down in the Tucson area, with a possible dip into the 80s after the rain.
