Excessive Heat Warning issues for Labor Day Weekend

TUCSON, Ariz. — The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Warning from Friday through Monday.

The warning goes into effect at 10 a.m. Friday and lasts until 8 p.m. Monday.

Temperatures could rise to as high as 114 degrees in areas near Tucson, including southern Pinal County, western Pima County and the upper Gila River Valley.
