...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM MST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall
continues.
* WHERE...Central Cochise county, mainly near Sunizona.
* WHEN...Until 1030 PM MST.
* IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over
roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 950 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause
small stream flooding. Between 0.75 and 1 inch of rain has
fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Whitewater Draw, Turkey Creek, Witch Creek, Ash Creek,
Pridham Creek and Stanford Creek.
Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
expected.

Sunizona.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
