TUCSON, Ariz. — A local law enforcement recruitment class is raising money for an officer's wife's fight against breast cancer.

Southern Arizona Law Enforcement Training Center Class 20-1 will be running towers to raise money for Officer Payne and his family. The money will go towards any expenses they may have incurred during Carrie's fight.

The "POWER UP The Tower for Payne" event will be on Thursday, March 5th. Each class member of 20-1 will be running their maximum amount of towers to gain funding and to show support for Carrie's fight.

Carrie was diagnosed back in the Summer of 2019. It's been a fight for not only her, but her husband Officer Payne as well.

Their fundraising goal on GoFundMe was 6,000, but they currently exceeded that. The link to donate, here.
