TUCSON, Ariz. — Welcome to Tech Tuesday, where each week I break down the hottest news in the world of science and technology -- and this time we’re starting with some on-demand ice cream.

Yes, you can run to the store to get a pint or drive-thru a fast food place -- but this is so much more 2021. A new device called the ColdSnap takes the idea of pod-based coffee and lets you make a cup of soft-serve whenever you want it. Along with ice cream, you’ll be able to make frozen coffee, smoothies and even cocktails. No word on price as of yet, but it’s supposed to start shipping later this year.

There’s nothing like a classic family game night. But sometimes all those cards, dice and game pieces can be a real pain to keep track of... so that’s where the Infinity Game Table comes in. CNET gave us a first look at the device, and they called it “intriguing." The 24-inch screen lets you play any board game you want by just using touch controls. Not only can your family gather around it physically, but you can play with anyone over the internet. It was a massively popular project on Kickstarter, raising over $1 million dollars, and once it’s available this summer it’ll cost $600 dollars.

Now that wearable technology like smartwatches and fitness trackers are everywhere, it’s time to think about what’s next. Chances are it’s smart glasses. As Apple, Samsung and Google develop theirs in secret, a company called Vuzix has revealed their latest pair… and they look pretty good. When you wear them, you can see information displayed in front of you – like driving directions, emails and the weather. It’s all made possible by tiny microLED projectors on either side. It’ll have WiFi, a cellular connection, stereo speakers and more, and will likely be released this Summer at around a thousand dollars. I’d wear them, would you?
