The Colby Olsen Foundation is proud to present our Tucson’s Got Talent Finale series. This event will be different as there will be a preliminary round, a semi-final round, and the finale! Share your talent for a chance to win a CASH PRIZE of up to $500 for each age group at the Tucson’s Got Talent finale!
As tradition, this is your chance to showcase your skills and take home some amazing prize money! All performers ages 10 and up are encouraged to attend and all talents are welcome (singing, lip-sync, dance, magicians, etc). Performers may audition as a group or as an individual. This is your chance showcase your talents, have fun AND help raise money for The Colby Olsen Foundation!
For each round, we will be breaking the competition down into two age groups. Our Youth Group will be ages 10-17, followed by our Adult Group 18+. If performing in a group, of mixed ages, we will base the category on a majority of the age of contestants. All contestants perform free of charge.
The Preliminary round will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 6pm-9pm; And, the semi-final round will be held on Sunday, February 9th from 6-9pm. Both rounds will be located at The Scoundrel and Scamp Theater located at the Historic Y. 738 NORTH 5TH AVENUE, STE 131, TUCSON, AZ, 85705.
HOW TO APPLY:
Deadline for auditions along with any music for song/dance/lip-synch performances for the preliminary round will be October 1st. First half of the auditions will be the youth portion, ages 10-17, followed by the adult portion, 18+. Please apply at https://www.colbyolsenfoundation.org/tgtcontestantform and send your music in .MP3 format to colbyolsenfoundation@gmail.com. All contestants must be at The Scoundrel and Scamp Theater by 5pm. If you are selected to move on to the next round, you must submit your updated music in .MP3 format within four weeks of the next round.
Here are how the rounds will be conducted:
The preliminary round will accommodate 40 contestants (20 youth and 20 Adult). Space is limited and we will be accepting applicants until October 1st. From the preliminary round, we will select the top 10 contestants from each category to move on into the semi-final round. From the semi-final round we will select the top 5 in each category to move on into the finale.
Our panel of three judges will be selecting 2 winners from each age category at the finale for the following cash prizes:
First Place Adult- $500
Second Place Adult- $250
First Place Youth- $500
Second Place Youth- $250
Admission is $10 at the door and audience members under the age of thirteen, (13), get in free. All University of Arizona and Pima Community College students enter for $5 with a valid student ID.
