From AZVisionTherapy.com:

The Sensory Learning Program is a 30-day program, which includes 12 consecutive days in office and 18 days at home. While in the office, the child will lay on a soft table that rotates up and down while listening to headphones that are intended to help organize the auditory parts of the brain and also while gazing at a light that not only helps with visual tracking but also contains stimuli to help organize the visual parts of the brain. Doing these three things simultaneously has been proven to link those areas of the brain so that they can more easily communicate with each other. The child then finishes the program with home support that is done 20 minutes twice per day to make those new pathways more permanent.

Some of the changes that we have seen in the past year include: the ability to take in new information and be able to generalize it – to use it in other situations that are related; the ability to gather thoughts more quickly so things like writing essays or just getting ready for school in the morning are easier; the ability to calm down more quickly; the ability to hold conversations with others and be able to find the right words more easily.

We also have a professional who will run a nutrient panel (lab) to see if the child is having problems getting the right nutrients or detoxing waste products. And we will also add other therapies like the ionic foot bath to help remove some toxins on-site and also far infrared technology to help improve circulation.
