Saguaros playing for Pecos Championship

The Tucson Saguaros opened the Pecos League Championship series on Wednesday night with a convincing 11 to 6 victory.
 
The Saguaros, who had once been down 5-0, made a comeback after a Ryan Retz grand slam.  The Saguaros went on to score 6 more runs in the middle innings to secure a win.
 
A deciding game two will be played Thursday night at Kino Stadium.  The first pitch is at 7:00 p.m.  A live webcast will be available on YouTube by putting Tucson Saguaros Baseball in the search box.
 
The Tucson Saguaros boast a 51-14 record and 0.785 winning percentage, which leads the entire Pecos League, but are 3 and 7 in the team's last ten games.  
 
The Saguaros ace pitcher Steven Borkowski leads the Pecos league with ten wins and 92 strikeouts this season.
