The Tucson Roadrunners held their first annual Teddy Bear Toss tonight at the Tucson Convention Center, as the team hosted the Ontario Reign.
Zbynek Michalek tallied the teams first goal only minutes into the game, as fans tossed bears onto the ice.
Connor Garland and Chris Mueller also tallied goals in the first period, leading 3-0 at the first intermission.
The team rallied after Ontario tied the game at 4-4 to win 5-4 in overtime, thanks to a goal by Christian Fischer.
This is the first win for the Roadrunners in their past 5 games.
Roadrunners are back in action Friday against San Antionio.
