The Ohio State Buckeyes and Clemson Tigers are heading back to Glendale for a right to play for a national championship.
Ohio State, which defeated Notre Dame in last season's Fiesta Bowl, is Fiesta Bowl-bound once again. The Buckeyes will face the Tigers, who lost to Alabama in last season's College Football Playoff National Championship game.

The game will take place at University of Phoenix Stadium on Dec. 31. The winner will go on to this season's CFP National Championship game against the winner of the Peach Bowl between Alabama and Washington. The championship game will take place on Jan. 9 in Tampa, Florida.
This will be Ohio State's record eighth Fiesta Bowl appearance; the Buckeyes are 5-2 all-time in the game. This will be Clemson's first-ever trip to the Fiesta Bowl.
