Local BMX star Kevin Peraza has won his 2nd X Games gold medal, after placing first in the BMX Park event at the 2017 X Games on Saturday in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Peraza's best finish in the X Games Park event is 7th. He placed 10th in Park the year prior. Logan Martin and Daniel Sandoval finished in 2nd and 3rd place in the Park event.
Peraza won the gold medal in the BMX Dirt track at the X Games in Austin last year, and is hoping to repeat as Champion on Sunday. Unlike the Dirt event, Peraza had to qualifty fo the 2017 X Games Park, He placed 3rd at Road to X Games Boise back in June.
