TUCSON, Ariz. — The University of Arizona Board of Regents will vote on a proposed contract extension for athletic director Dave Heeke this week.
According to the board's agenda notes, the University seeks authorization to enter into a multi-year employment contract for a period of four years starting April 1, 2019-Mar. 31, 2023, making for a one year extension of his current contract.
Heeke's proposed base salary is $750,000, with annual increased of $10,000. His current salary is $650,000.
Heeke came to Tucson in 2017 after having spent the last 11 years as Athletic Director at Central Michigan University, and the 18 years prior to that in the University of Oregon Athletic Department.
