Hawaii defeated Sunnyside, 7-3, in the first round of the Little League West Regional in San Bernadino, Ca.
The boys from Tucson's south side gave up five runs in the first inning and had to play come from behind the rest of the game. Their highlight was a great diving play by shortstop Emilio Lizarraga to take a way a base hit.
Next up is a game in the elimination bracket on Tuesday.
