Former Duke forward Chase Jeter has announced on twitter and instagram that he is transferring to the Arizona Wildcats.

Jeter was once a five-star high school recruit out of Las Vegas. He missed the last nineteen games of his sophomore season with a back injury. He averaged 2.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game before he was hurt. Jeter than announced his intention to transfer.

"Chase has been an outstanding young man in our program for the last two years," Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said in a news release. "He has been one of our top academic performers since he arrived on campus. Unfortunately, he was held back this season due to injury. We wish nothing but the absolute best for Chase and his family."

Jeter will have to sit out one season for transferring. Arizona will need help in the frontcourt. The Wildcats will lose Dusan Ristic to graduation. DeAndre Ayton is expected to be 'one and done' to the NBA.
