On Wednesday, Arizona Wildcats junior and LHP Cameron Ming was selected in the 14th round of the Major League Baseball draft by the Baltimore Orioles.
Ming found himself pitching in a variety of roles this season for the Wildcats, and ended up leading the team in ERA, at 2.78 in 77 2/3 innings pitched. Ming has the option to return to school, and improve his draft odds in hopes of being selected in the first 10 rounds next year.
So, congratulations to Ming on being drafted... as he now has a decision to make.
