Arizona football wins their first road game of the season Friday night in El Paso, defeating UTEP 63-16.

It was supposed to be a blowout, but questions lingering around Arizona's stagnant offense last week kept us wondering.

Most notably, quarterback Brandon Dawkins was responsible for 6 touchdowns, and was a career best 18-22, or 81.8%.  Dawkins faced ample criticism this week following the Wildcats loss to Houston, after Dawkins missed several wide open receivers.

Shun Brown had a 39 yard TD reception as well as a 63 yard punt return for touchdown.  He had one as well in week 1 vs. NAU.

Though Arizona was a 20+ point favorite, they did what they were supposed to do facing an inferior team in UTEP who was also without their starting QB.  The road doesn't get much easier, though.  As the Wildcats open up Pac-12 play next Friday at home vs. Utah.
