No. 10 Arizona scored early and often, plating 21 runs on 19 hits, coming one hit shy of its first 20-hit game since 1998, as Arizona run-ruled Drake 21-0 on a rain soaked Saturday at the Wildcat Invitational.

Arizona’s 19 hits were the most since May 19, 2003 vs. Texas A&M. The 21 runs mark UA’s most since plating 22 vs. Stanford in 2015.

Alyssa Palomino hit her third home run in as many games and Jessie Harper hit her third home run of the year..

After awaiting a rain delay, the Wildcats finally got underway around 6:30pm and Arizona plated 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning on their way to a 21-0 route.

Taylor McQuillin pitched 3 scoreless frames and got the win to move her to 3-0 on the year.

Next up, Arizona will play a double header tomorow due to today's rain delay.  Starting at 1pm. they'll face North Dakota State followed by Boston College.
