UNC Asheville guard Dylan Smith announced on Wednesday night that he will transfer to the University of Arizona.
The 6-foot-5 guard will sit out one year and have three years of eligibility left at Arizona.
Smith played in all 30 games as a freshman and averaged 13.5 points per game. He also made a team high 81 three-pointers at UNC-Asheville, who won the Big South tournament championship.
