CSU, Nevada players enjoy Bowl experience

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The NOVA Home Loans Arizona Bowl is only two days away.  The Colorado State and Nevada teams are keeping busy with pre-bowl game activities.

On Sunday afternoon at Tucson Medical Center's Children's Hospital, players from both teams, accompanied by cheerleaders, visited young children.  The players delivered gifts, took photos, and lifted the spirits of the local children.

The players returned to their hotels, where they were taken to receive their bowl gifts.  The Arizona Bowl gifted players with Cowboy boots from Cowtown Boots.  The players and coaches were able to choose their favorite style, color, and then were fitted by Cowtown representatives.

Later in the evening, both teams met at the VIP/Player's Party at Old Tucson Studios.  The teams, sponsors, local organizing committee, and board members had a steak dinner end enjoyed a tour, photos, an Old West gunfight show, and bullriding exhibition.

Colorado State and Nevada kickoff at 5:30pm on Tuesday night at Arizona Stadium.
