TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - The Arizona Women's Volleyball team was selected to the NCAA Tournament on Sunday night, earning its third straight at-large selection.
Arizona, who recorded a 19-13 regular season record, will open the tournament on Friday at 5 p.m. Tucson-time against first-round opponent Western Kentucky in Provo, Utah.
National seed BYU will host first and second round games. The Cougars will face Ohio in the first round with the winners set to meet on Saturday at 7 p.m.
This marks Arizona's 27th trip to the NCAA Tournament and the 18th time head coach Dave Rubio has led the Wildcats to the postseason.
The Cats ended the season with a 9-11 conference record and seventh in the Pac-12.
