A judge has set bond in the Tyler Kost case at $100,000 after a hearing Friday morning. The judge says no evidence presented by prosecutors proves Kost is a threat to the public.
Kost was 18 years old when he was arrested in 2014,accused of sexually assaulting 13 girls between the ages of 12 and 17. Kost was a student at Poston Butte High School in San Tan Valley at the time of the arrest.

The defense stated in court Friday that a lead investigator violated policy while interviewing alleged victims in the case. Defense attorneys say the detective showed up at Poston Butte High School and pulled several alleged victims out of class, interviewed them without being recorded, and failed to write up the interviews in a timely manner.
In court, defense attorneys said that lead investigator has since been terminated.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office has not commented on those claims.

Kost has pled not guilty to all charges. The defense says he was set up by the girls as a form of revenge, and they conspired to frame him for the assaults.
The victims say they complained to one another via social media about Kost, but never conspired to frame him.
