Ten high schools across our state have ranked among the top 30 in the nation, according to U.S. News' annual report released Tuesday night.

The report includes data for thousands of high schools, and looks at a variety of factors, including college readiness, math and English proficiency, and advanced placement testing.

Five Basis schools, a charter group with schools across Arizona, took the number one through number five spots. Basis had a similar showing in 2017, when three of their schools were in the top three spots.

According to U.S. News, a state-by-state breakdown showed Massachusetts topped all other states with the highest percentage of nationally ranked public high schools.
