GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities say a woman has died after vehicle she was driving crashed into a block wall and pole in Glendale.
Police say it appears the vehicle went off the road before striking the wall and pole around 2 a.m. Sunday.
They say the woman was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.
Police say it's not immediately known what caused the crash and it's still unclear if either speed or impairment were factors.
